Iran’s Persepolis Defeats Bunyodkor in Friendly
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s Persepolis football team defeated Bunyodkor of Uzbekistan in a warm up match in the UAE on Wednesday.
Persepolis beat Bunyodkor 3-1 at the Jebel Ali Stadium.
Reza Khaleghifar scored a brace and Mohsen Bengar was on target for Persepolis.
Bunyodkor pulled a goal back in the dying moments of the match.
The Iranian popular team is preparing itself for the 2015 AFC Champions League, where the Reds has been grouped with Saudi champion Nassr and Qatari Stars League winner Lekhwiya as well as a team advancing from the playoffs in another tough looking pool.
