Iran Beaten by Georgia in Belarus Youth Tournament
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran lost to Georgia 1-0 in the 11th International Youth Tournament (U-17) in Belarus on Monday.
Iran was reduced to 10-man in the 42nd minute after Mirzadeh was sent off.
The team will play Latvia on Tuesday.
The competition is underway in Minsk, Belarus, from January 18 to 25.
In addition to the host, the national teams of Iran, Czech Republic, Russia, Ukraine, Finland, Georgia, Moldova, Latvia, Lithuania a md Japan are participating in the competition.
A total of 12 teams were divided in three groups of four teams.
