Coach Satisfied with Iran’s Performance in Handball Worlds

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian national handball team coach Borout Macek is satisfied with the way his team was performing at the World Handball Championship.

Iran finished in the 21s place in the world championship in Qatar.

“It was for the first time Iran took part in the world championship. World championship is the best place to earn experience. On the whole, I am satisfied with our performance in the tournament,” Macek said.

“I am waiting the new president of Iran handball federation to be appointed then I will present my programs to him,” he added.

“I have to say I am not happy with the referees but we have to work on physical readiness as well,” Macek said.

"I am satisfied with our two wins against Chile and Saudi Arabia in the tournament," he said.
