Azmoun has been linked to a move in recent weeks, with Premier League teams - including Arsenal, Liverpool and Tottenham- understood to be interested in the Iranian international striker.
Russian Premier League club Rostov has also negotiated with Rubin Kazan’s officials to sign the 20-year-old player.
“My agent is in Turkey at the moment to talk with the Rubin Kazan’s officials. But I think it’s not the right time for me to play in Premier League. My main goal is to play in Premier League, and I've taken a lot of good advice to stay in Russia to gain more experience,” Azmoun told the Tasnim News Agency.
In the 2015 AFC Asian Cup, Sardar Azmoun scored arguably the goal of the tournament against Qatar. He scored against Iraq as well.
