Report: Iran, Chile Friendly Match in Sweden Cancelled
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Media reports suggested that the friendly match between Iran and Chile in Sweden has been cancelled.
The match was supposed to be held at the Ullevi stadium in Gothenburg, Sweden on March 25.
According to the Iranian media, Sweden officials are reluctant to let the match to be played in Gothenburg since they are afraid of the result of the match will affect Sweden and Iran friendly’s profits.
Team Melli will likely play Chile in Austria in the same date.
Iran will also play Sweden at the Friends Arena Stadium in Stockholm six days later.
