Lekhwiya will face Iranian giant in Group A of the 2015 AFC Champions League on Tuesday in Tehran’s Azadi Stadium.
“I believe that all Iranians want Persepolis to defeat our team. I respect Persepolis’s fans and I have to say their team will be different in AFC Champions League than the Iranian league,” Laudrup said in the pre-match news conference.
“Persepolis’s poor results in the domestic league will not be repeated in ACL. We also have a good team and are ready to face Persepolis,” former Swansea coach added.
