Hungarian Grand Prix: Iran’s Taheri Claims Bronze

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s Greco-Roman wrestler Ramin Taheri won a bronze medal at the Hungarian Grand Prix on Sunday.

In the 71kg bronze-medal bout, Taheri and Kazakhstan’s Nurzhan Nadyrov claimed the bronze medal jointly.

In the final match, Hungary’s Balint Korpasi defeated Romanian Ilie Cojocari and won the gold medal.

Iran’s Payam Bouyeri had already won a bronze medal in the event.

Hungarian Grand Prix, considered one of the toughest Greco-Roman events in the world each year.

Iran took part in the event with five wrestlers.

The Hungarian Golden Grand Prix took place in the city of Szombathely, Hungary.
