Sports Societies Extend Condolences to Families of Iranian Journalists
TEHRAN(Tasnim)- Iranian sports clubs and federations have extended their condolences to the families of two journalists who died in Tuesday's Germanwings crash in France.
The German jetliner en route from Barcelona, Spain, to Düsseldorf, Germany, plunged from the sky on Tuesday and slammed into the French Alps, killing all 150 people on board.
Two Iranian sports journalists - Milad Hojjatoleslami and Hossein Javadi - had covered a Real Madrid - FC Barcelona fixture and were on their way to Austria to watch the Iranian national team play Chile.
Iran Football Federation sent a message of condolence to the families of the two journalists who lost their lives in the horror crash.
Iranian giant football clubs Persepolis and Esteghlal also extended their deepest condolences in separate messages.
Iran Handball Federation expressed condolences to the families of the journalists as well.
