TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Commander of Iran's Army Ground Force Highlighted the country's full control over borders and gave an assurance that the armed forces will make the enemies regret it if they dare pose a threat against Iran.

"All moves at the borders are being monitored, and ... analyzed by the intelligence experts, and capacities are developed proportional to the analyses," Brigadier General Ahmad Reza Pourdastan said in Tehran on Friday.

The commander, who was speaking ahead of the National Army Day, also pledged that the enemies will get a crushing response if they dare threaten Iran.

A whole host of Iranian Army forces will attend nationwide parades on Saturday morning to mark the country’s National Army Day.

General Pourdastan further pointed to the different nature of threats in the contemporary era, namely collaborative warfare and proxy wars, stressing that Iran's military forces are prepared to counter all threats.

In a statement on April 7, the Iranian Armed Forces General Staff underlined that the country's forces are "vigilant" and fully prepared to repel any threat.

It said that in case of any aggression against Iran, the armed forces will give the enemies a lesson and make them regret their move.
