Richards joined the Iranian basketball team from Egis Kormend in Hungarian A Division.

He managed to play in three leagues in two countries last year, eurobasket reported.

Richards is a very experienced player. He has played also professionally in Belgium (Belfius Mons-Hainaut and Belfius Mons-Hainaut II), Italy, Spain (Real Madrid, Herbalife Gran Canaria 2014 and Gran Canaria) and Switzerland (Lugano Tigers and Monthey).
