U-23 Asian Women’s Volleyball Championship: Iran Loses to Chinese Taipei
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran was defeated against Chinese Taipei in the 2015 Under-23 Asian Women’s Volleyball Championship on Monday.
The Iranian outfit lost to Chinese Taipei in three sets (17–25, 21–25, 17–25) in Pool E.
The Iranian team had defeated the Philippines 3-1 and Kazakhstan 3-2 respectively in its first two matches in the competition underway in Manila, the Philippines.
The Iranian team will play Japan on Tuesday.
The Asian Under-23 Volleyball championship serves as the qualifying round for the 2015 FIVB Under-23 Volleyball World Championship in Ankara, Turkey.
