The 33-year-old defender left Persepolis for Al Ahli of Qatar at the end of 2013-14 season on a one-year contract.
Hosseini began his career with Malavan in 2002 and has played in Saipa and Sepahan as well.
Hosseini is also a member of the Iranian football team who played in the 2014 FIFA World Cup as well as 2011 and 2015 AFC Asian Cups.
