Andranik Teymourian on Verge of Joining Umm Salal

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian national football team's captain Andranik Teymourian is in Doha to pass Umm Salal’s medial test.

Al Kass TV has reported on Tuesday that the transfer was almost done but the club has not officially announced that.

It’s understood the deal will cost $1.2 million.

Teymourian, 32, has already played for Al-Kharitiyath of Qatar.

Teymourian became Iran captain after Javad Nekounam retired from international football in April.
