The Iranian discus thrower came third with a new season best of 62.58m.

The strong Pole Piotr Malachowski won the discus event with 65.17m.

Zoltan Kovago who recently placed second at the IAAF Diamond League meeting in Paris, France, was once again second on the podium. His best attempt was measured 63.20m.
