Iran’s Zarif: No Problem with Neighbors

Speaking at a joint press conference with his Iraqi counterpart Ibrahim Al-Jaafari on Monday, Zarif underlined friendly ties between Tehran and its neighboring states.
“We have no problem with our neighbors,” Zarif said, adding that the recent conclusion of nuclear talks between Iran and world powers has resolved common problems with the neighboring states.
“We have no problem with neighbors and consider the security of each of them as our own security,” he underscored, adding, “We will do our best to boost security in the region.”
The minister noted that Iran poses no threat to other parties.
As regards Iraq, Zarif said Iranian nation and government will remain by Iraqi side in the war on terrorism.
Also at the press conference the Iraqi minister lauded the close ties and cooperation between Tehran and Baghdad.
