TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Afghanistan's President Ashraf Ghani has undergone a surgery on his food which suffered an injury a few weeks ago at an event to mark World Olympics Day.
Afghanistan's President Ashraf Ghani has undergone surgery on his foot in Germany and is recovering well, according to sources from the Presidential Palace on Sunday.
The sources told Tolo News that the surgery has been successful.
Ghani reportedly traveled to Germany last week and was accompanied by his personal physician.
The president injured his foot a few weeks ago while attending an event to mark World Olympics Day.
