Training Plane Crashes in North of Iran

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – A training plane crashed in Iran’s northern province of Qazvin on Saturday, wounding two people on board, a medical official said.

At 10:55 a.m. local time (0625 GMT), the aircraft crashed 40 kilometers (25 miles) away from a freeway linking Qazvin to the city of Rasht, Head of the Red Crescent Society of Qazvin Hamid Rah-Anjam said.

Two people on board the plane were injured in the incident, he added, noting that a 33-year-old passenger received outpatient care, but the other victim, 50 years old, has been taken to the hospital.
