It’s understood the 31-year-old player has joined the Qatari club with a $1 million deal.
Shojaei joined Al-Shahania of Qatar in 2014 and scored five goals in 25 matches for the team.
Former Osasuna player represented Iran in two World Cups and three Asian Cups.
He was also linked to a move to Iran’s Persepolis in the summer.
