Heading a high-ranking delegation, including Spokesman and Deputy Head of the AEOI Behrouz Kamalvandi, Salehi will take part in the international conference, which will start on Monday.

The Iranian nuclear chief is also slated to meet with officials of other countries on the sidelines of the conference.

The 59th Annual Regular Session of the IAEA General Conference will be held from September 14 to 18 at the Vienna International Centre (VIC) in the Austrian capital.

The General Conference is the highest policy-making body of the IAEA. It is composed of representatives of all member states of the agency.

The General Conference meets annually, typically in September, to consider and approve the agency's program and budget and to decide on other matters brought before it by the Board of Governors, the director general and member states, according to the official website of the IAEA.
