Earlier on Saturday, The Omani foreign ministry strongly condemned a Friday attack by the Saudi-led coalition on Omani ambassador's home in the Yemeni capital of Sana'a and  described it as a clear violation of the international law, Muscate-based the Oman Daily Observer reported.

"Oman received with deep regret yesterday's news targeting the ambassador's home in Sana'a, which is a clear violation of international charters and norms that emphasise the inviolability of diplomatic premises," the statement said on Saturday.

Oman, meanwhile, urged United Nations to end the war on Yemen immediately, as it posed a serious threat to the security of the region.

The statement urged all stakeholders in Yemen to put aside their differences in order that stability and security could be restored to the Arab country as soon as possible.
