Ansarullah Condemns Saudi Attack on Omani Envoy’s Residence in Yemen

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – A spokesman for Yemen’s Ansarullah movement condemned an attack on the residence of Omani ambassador to Sana’a by Saudi-led military forces, describing it as a violation of international laws.

Mohammad Abdul-Salam said the attack was a retaliation aimed at dealing a blow to Oman’s brotherly role in the Yemen conflicts, according to Yemen's al-Masirah TV.

The strike was in contradiction to the international charters and diplomatic regulations, he added.

Abdul-Salam noted that the Omani envoy’s residence was targeted because of Muscat’s role in the Arab world, its appropriate stances towards the conflicts in Yemen and its willingness to stop the Saudi aggression on Yemeni people.

The Saudi-led coalition airstrikes hit the residence in Sana'a on Friday and seriously damaged the Omani ambassador's home and nearby houses in al-Sabin district.
