Police authorities said they were called to the 5000 block of Johnson Street around 10 pm on Tuesday. They said a male victim had been shot, Kare11 reported on Wednesday.
Authorities have not released the condition of the victim.
Local police said they are searching for the shooting suspect and anticipate a heavy police presence in the area overnight.
