Photos: Hafez Day Marked in Mausoleum of Iran’s Most Popular Poet

SHIRAZ (Tasnim) – A large group of people gathered in the tomb of prominent Iranian poet Hafez in southern city of Shiraz to mark Hafez Day, annually celebrated on October 12th. His works are regarded as a pinnacle of Persian literature and are to be found in the homes of most people in Iran.
