Anti-Israel Activists Protest Bibi’s White House Visit

WASHINGTON, D.C. (Tasnim) – A group of peace activists and anti-Zionist Jewish people gathered outside the White House in Washington, D.C., to protest against the Israeli prime minister’s visit to the US.

The Monday’s demonstrations were organized by the human rights activists and anti-war groups.

As US President Barack Obama and Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu were at a meeting at the White House, demonstrators were shouting slogans against the Tel Aviv regime’s racist policies.

Protesters were also holding signs demanding a cut in the US financial assistance to Israel and an end to the Israeli regime’s violence against people of Palestine.

Meanwhile, US plain-clothes police tried to disrupt the rallies at a park in front of the White House, and prevented more people from joining the gathering.

In the meantime, another 600 American students gathered at a street near the White House to condemn Obama’s policies.
