Israel behind Insecurity in Europe: Lebanese Analyst

Speaking to the Tasnim News Agency, Zahran pointed to recent terrorist attacks in the French capital of Paris and said the Americans and Zionists intend to increase insecurity in Europe to pressure Jews living in the continent into immigrating to the occupied territories.

The prominent analyst further pointed to the remarks made by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu after the attack on French weekly Charlie Hebdo last January, saying that Netanyahu had explicitly asked the Jews living in France to immigrate to Palestine.

“It should be reminded that 23 percent of (French) Jews have immigrated to the occupied territories just over the past year,” he said.

Late on Friday, a string of coordinated attacks in and around the French capital left at least 132 people dead and some 200 others injured.

The Paris attacks are said to be the worst on European soil since the Madrid train bombings of 2004, in which 191 died.

French President Francois Hollande said Friday’s attacks were carried out by members of the ISIL terrorist organization (also known as Daesh), which later reportedly claimed responsibility for them.
