Iranian Minister Meets with Hezbollah Leader in Lebanon
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s Health Minister Seyed Hassan Qazizadeh Hashemi, who is on an official visit to Lebanon, met with Secretary General of Lebanese Hezbollah Resistance Movement Seyed Hassan Nasrallah.
In the meeting, which was also attended by Iran’s ambassador to Lebanon Mohammad Fathali and Hezbollah’s representative in Tehran Sayyed Abdallah Safieddine, Qazizadeh Hashemi and Nasrallah discussed the latest developments in the region, Lebanon’s LBC news on Thursday quoted Hezbollah’s office as saying.
The Iranian health minister arrived in the Lebanese capital on Wednesday.
He is accompanied in the visit by a number of Iranian investors and managers of companies working in the field of pharmaceuticals and medical equipment.
Qazizadeh Hashemi has made the trip at the invitation of his Lebanese counterpart, Wael Abou Faour.
He also plans to pay a visit to Syria on the second leg of his tour of regional countries and meet with the war-hit country’s health officials.
