Japan’s Coach Teguramori Expects Difficult Match against Iran
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Japan coach Makoto Teguramori spoke about Friday’s clash with Iran, a game in which the East Asian country’s U-23 national team will be looking to continue its great run of form.
Japan booked a place at the 2016 AFC U-23 Championship quarters with a 100% record ahead of North Korea, Thailand and Saudi Arabia.
“We know it will be a very difficult match against Iran. Now, Japan has entered a new stage and we are not allowed to make any mistake,” Teguramori said.
“We must concentrate on Iran match and I expect my players to show a better performance compared to our last three games,” the Japanese coach added.
“We will have a great chance to advance to Olympics if we defeat Iran since the tournament’s top three teams will advance to the event,” Makoto Teguramori stated.
