Iran to Play South Korea for Asian Handball Championship Fifth Place
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran will meet South Korea on Wednesday for the Asian Handball Championship 5th place.
The Iranian team defeated Oman 32-27 at the Bahrain Handball Federation Hall, in Manama on Monday.
Iran had previously lost to Saudi Arabia and Bahrain in Group B and defeated China, Lebanon and the UAE.
On Tuesday, Saudi Arabia will face Qatar and Japan play Bahrain in the semi-final.
The event also serves as qualifier for the 2017 Men’s Handball World Championship in France.
