“By continued massacre of the innocent people simultaneous with Geneva talks, foreign-sponsored terrorist groups are seeking to disrupt the process that is taking shape for the political settlement of the Syria crisis and also for the termination of the ongoing humanitarian disaster,” Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Hossein Jaberi Ansari said.

He renewed Iran's call for serious step to end the policy of supporting terrorist groups and dispatch of arms and militants to Syria.

At least 45 people were killed and 110 wounded on Sunday in three bomb blasts near a revered Shiite shrine south of the Syrian capital Damascus.

Syria's television carried a breaking news alert reporting "two terrorist blasts, one of them a car bomb, followed by a suicide bomber... in the area of Sayyida Zeinab."

The Sayyida Zeinab shrine contains the grave of a granddaughter of the Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) and is particularly revered as a pilgrimage site by Muslims.
