Some 30 Daesh Militants Killed in Drone Attack in Eastern Afghanistan

Other Media

The attack was carried out in the Nangarhar province, Sputnik News cited local media as reporting on Saturday.

Over the past year, Afghan Security Forces as well as US and NATO troops, have faced an evolving security situation in Afghanistan, which included the rise of the Daesh, mainly in the Khorasan Province.

The Daesh is a designated terrorist group outlawed in many countries.

Apart from the Daesh, extremist groups like the Taliban and al-Qaeda have reemerged in Afghanistan in the recent months, threatening the country’s stability.

Afghan security forces regularly conduct military operations against insurgents.
