AFC Champions League: Iran’s Sepahan Beaten by Al Nasr
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Sepahan of Iran was defeated against Al Nasr of the United Arab Emirates 2-0 at the Al Maktoum Stadium in Group A of the 2016 AFC Champions League on Tuesday.
Nilmar gave the host a lead in the 57th minute and Jonathan Pitroipa sealed all three points for Al Nasr in the dying moments of the match.
Sepahan had defeated Al Nasr 2-0 in Isfahan’s Fooladshahr Stadium last week.
Furthermore, Al-Ittihad of Saudi Arabia also was held to a 1-1 draw by Uzbekistan’s Lokomotiv in Jeddah’s King Abdullah Sports City.
Sepahan will host Lokomotiv Tashkent on March 15, while Al-Ittihad will face Al Nasr.
