The cooperation documents were signed in a ceremony in Ankara on Saturday, attended by Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyib Erdogan.
The documents covered a range of spheres, including higher education, social security, plant maintenance services and standardization.
The two neighboring countries signed an agreement for collaborations between Iran’s University of Judicial Sciences and Turkey’s Justice Academy.
Also, Turkey’s National Metrology Institute, Iran’s Institute of Standards and Industrial Research (ISIR) and Iran’s National Metrology Center inked an MoU for cooperation.
Heading a high-ranking delegation, Rouhani arrived in Ankara on Friday at the invitation of Erdogan.
President Rouhani had earlier been in Istanbul to attend the 13th Summit of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
Iran and Turkey have ramped up efforts in recent months to boost bilateral trade after implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), a lasting nuclear deal between Iran and the Group 5+1 (Russia, China, the US, Britain, France and Germany).
The deal took effect on January 16, terminating all nuclear-related sanctions on Iran.
