Militants' Shelling Kills Three, Wounds 10 in Aleppo

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Militants' shelling on Saturday killed three and wounded 10 people in Aleppo, local self-defense forces' member said.

Three people died and 10 others were wounded as militants shelled the Syrian city of Aleppo, a member of the local militia told RIA Novosti on Saturday.

“The militants opened fire against the Hamdaniya district. Three people died and 10 were wounded,” he said.

Syria has been mired in civil war since 2011, with Syrian army fighting numerous opposition factions and extremist groups.

A US-Russia-brokered ceasefire came into force across Syria on February 27, but it does not apply to terrorist organizations active in the country.
