Takfiri Scourge in Iraq, Syria Linked with Israel: Nasrallah

TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezbollah Resistance Movement Seyed Hassan Nasrallah attributed the attempts by Takfiri groups at upsetting the situation in Iraq and Syria to the policies of the Zionist regime of Israel.

Politics

The Takfiri attempts to create chaos in Iraq and Syria are linked with the Zionist regime’s policies and objectives, Nasrallah said at a meeting with Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab and African Affairs Hossein Amir Abdollahian, held in Beirut on Sunday.

The Hezbollah chief also called for vigilance in the face of Israeli plots, stressing that the culture of devotion and martyrdom in countering the Tel Aviv regime and terrorism have brought security to Lebanon.

Nasrallah further voiced support for Iran’s policy of fighting terrorism and contributing to political solutions to the regional crises.

The senior Lebanese politician finally blamed the rise of terrorism on the sides that insist on military ways to deal with the regional crises.

Officials from Iran and Hezbollah hold regular meetings to discuss the problems in the region and coordinate policies in the fight against Takfiri groups which have plagued Syria and Iraq.
