Iran’s Persepolis Downs Lokomotiv Kiev in Friendly
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Persepolis football team from Iran defeated Ukraine’s Lokomotiv Kiev in a friendly match on Tuesday.
The Reds defeated Ukrainian team 4-1. Ali Alipour (two goals), Ahmad Nourollahi and Shahab Zahedi scored against second-tier team in Kiev, capital of Ukraine.
Persepolis, who became runner-up at the Iran Professional League last season, is preparing itself for the new edition of the competition.
Esteghlal, Persepolis’s arch-rival, is also currently holding a training camp in Armenia.
