Anti-Trump Protest Held in Washington (+Photos)
WASHINGTON, D.C. (Tasnim) – Scores of people staged a protest rally in the US capital of Washington to voice their outrage over policies adopted by Donald Trump, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee.
According to Tasnim dispatches, the demonstration was held in front of the headquarters of the Republican Party, also commonly called the GOP, near the Capitol building on Wednesday.
Carrying various placards, the protesters condemned the unemployment situation in the US and Trump’s policies.
Anti-Trump protests have spread across the US in recent months because of his controversial comments that critics view as racist, xenophobic and sexist.
