Iran’s Esteghlal Signs Brazilian Defender Robson
TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iranian football club Esteghlal of Tehran announced the loan signing of Brazilian defender Robson Januario de Paula.
The 22-year-old player has joined the Blues on a one-year contract.
The details of the deal have not been revealed.
Robson started his playing career at Bahia in 2013 and was transferred to Japanese football team Kawasaki Frontale on loan.
The Iranian football club has also penned a contract with English fitness coach Steve Jones.
The 16th edition of the Iran Professional League (IPL) will kick off on July 25.
