Iran swept past Egypt 3-0 (28-26, 25-22, 25-16) in Pool B on Saturday, to advance to the quarterfinals of the Rio 2016 Olympic Games men’s volleyball competition at Maracanazinho.
“The team played better and we are happy to get the victory. There were a lot of nerves and tension because we wanted to move to the quarterfinals,” Lozano said.
“This was an important match. We tried our best to stay calm and play the best we did, and it worked out for us,” the Argentine added.
