“We need to work on eliminating terrorists from committing further massacres in Syria, Afghanistan and other Muslim countries, and preventing them from executing their criminal plots that are being supported by regional and international powers,” a statement from Hezbollah late on Monday said, the Daily Star reported.
At least 48 people were killed and dozens wounded in a series of bombings across government-controlled areas of Syria on Monday. Daesh (ISIL) claimed responsibility for the attacks.
There were also reports of multiple terror attacks in Afghanistan on Monday.
In the latest incident, gunmen barricaded themselves inside the offices of an international aid group in central Kabul. Security forces killed all attackers late on Monday and ended an 11-hour siege in the Care International's compound.
The attack in the central Kabul took place just hours after a Taliban suicide attack near the Defense Ministry killed at least 24 people, including a number of senior security officials.
