TEHRAN (Tasnim) – High-ranking health officials from Iran and Cuba signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in a bid to promote mutual cooperation in various areas of health and medicine.

The agreement was signed by Ministry of Health and Medical Education of Iran and Ministry of Public Health of Cuba during a ceremony in Havana on Monday with President Hassan Rouhani and his Cuban counterpart, Raul Castro, in attendance.

Before the signing ceremony, the two countries’ delegations exchanged views about issues of mutual interest and ways to deepen Tehran-Havana relations in all spheres.
