WASHINGTON, DC (Tasnim) – A number of former officers of the US intelligence services, in a three-day workshop in Washington, revealed some secrets about the unethical activities of American spy agencies.

According to Tasnim dispatches, the last day of the workshop organized by the World Beyond War global movement was held on Sunday with more than four hundred anti-war activists in attendance.

During the gathering, the former agents talked about corruption and unethical performance of the US intelligence services.

They said they believe the US spy agencies, despite their primary mottos and claims on sincerity and commitment to ethics, are moving on the opposite direction.

World Beyond War is a nonviolent movement to end war and establish a just and sustainable peace.

The event, which kicked off on Friday, strived to replace a culture of war with one of peace in which nonviolent means of conflict resolution take the place of bloodshed.

Former members of the US National Security Association (NSA), Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), Pentagon and the State Department participated in the workshop.
