Iran needs to boost its defense and deterrent power more than ever, Brigadier General Hossein Salami told reporters on Wednesday, on the sidelines of a ceremony marking the inauguration of 3,300 development projects completed by the IRGC in underprivileged areas.
The commander also underlined that enhancing the defense power is a strategic policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, given the fact that adversaries are constantly talking about military action against Iran.
Back in August, Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei also underlined the need for strengthening the country’s military power, describing it as natural and an “inalienable right”.
