Carlos Queiroz Announces Iran Squad for World Cup Qualifiers
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Iranian national team head coach has named his 25-players for the 2018 World Cup qualifiers against Uzbekistan and South Korea.
Iran will play an away game with Group A topper Uzbekistan on October 6 and will host powerhouse South Korea in Tehran on October 11.
“Time to continue our work. Time to make the IMPOSSIBLE POSSIBLE and, after Brazil, fight for a historical consecutive World Cup qualification for Iran National Team. We will face top rivals. The time is now, it is time to develop the best support for this group. As always, we now we can count with you all. Wish all the players and you the best,” Queiroz said.

Goalkeepers: Alireza Beyravvand, Alireza Haghighi, Mohammadreza Akhbari.
External Defenders: Vouria Gahfouri, Ramin Rezaeian, Milad Mohammadi, Saeid Aghaei
