Iran's Oil & Gaz Advances to Asian Men's Club League Handball Next Round
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Oil & Gaz defeated Al Ahli of Jordan 26-23 in the 19th Asian Men's Club League Handball on Tuesday.
The Iranian team was held to draw against Al Jazeera of the UAE (35-35) in its first match in Group A and was defeated against Qatar's Al Jaish Club 37-28.
Group B consists of Lakhwiya of Qatar, Al Ahli of Bahrain, Al Noor of Saudi Arabia and Ahli Sidad of Oman.
Iran qualified for the competition's next stage as Group A second team and will play Al Noor on Thursday.
The competition has started on October 29 in Jordan and will run until November 5.
