Denmark Eyes Fresh Political Talks with Iran

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – A Danish deputy foreign minister invited her Iranian counterpart to visit the Scandinavian country for a new round of political negotiations between Tehran and Copenhagen.

In a meeting with Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for American and European Affairs Majid Takht Ravanchi in Tehran on Tuesday, Denmark’s State Secretary for Foreign Policy Lone Dencker Wisborg invited him to visit Denmark for the next round of political consultations between Iran and Denmark.

She also voiced her country’s willingness to boost political, economic, cultural and parliamentary ties with Iran.

Takht Ravanchi, for his part, stressed the need for the removal of obstacles to banking interaction between the two countries.

He also called for mutual interaction in advanced technologies, including nanotechnology.

During her visit to Iran, the Danish deputy minister has held meetings with ranking Iranian diplomats.
