The competition will be held in Tehran, capital of Iran from February 9 to 12.
The event is officially an international challenge with the winning team receiving a $20,000 cash prize
“A total of 19 countries namely, France, Poland, Afghanistan, Austria, Italy, Denmark, Russia, Portugal, Azerbaijan, Iraq, Syria, Armenia, Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, India, Pakistan and Nigeria have announced readiness to participate at the competition,” Iran Badminton Federation president Mohammadreza Pouria said.
“We are going to convince the confederation’s officials to hold the youth international competition in Iran,” he added.
