In a recent trip to the Lebanese capital, Qolizadeh held a meeting with Seyed Safieddine, the head of Hezbollah’s Executive Council.
During the meeting, the managing director of Tasnim briefed the senior Hezbollah official about the activities of the Iranian news agency.
The two sides also exchanged views about the latest developments in the region, including Syria.
Qolizadeh and his accompanying delegation also met with the resistance movement's second-in-command, Sheikh Naim Qassem.
They also sat down with Sheikh Ali Damush, the former head of the Lebanese group’s Foreign Relations Department.
Back in March 2014, Tasnim inaugurated its office in Lebanon’s capital of Beirut in a bid to enhance cultural and media interactions with regional countries.
