Iran Wins Bronze at Mixed Team Compound Event in Thailand

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s Parisa Baratchi and Esmaeil Ebadi won the bronze medal at the mixed team compound event at the Archery Asia Cup World Ranking Tournament Stage 2 at the Huamark Archery Field in Bangkok, Thailand on Friday.

The Iranian pair defeated Russian pair Albina Loginova and Alexander Dambaev 151-145.

The gold medal went to Taiwanese pair of Wu Ting-Ting and Chen Hsiang-Hsuan who defeated Malaysian duo Mohd Juwaidi and Fatin Nurfatehah Mat Salleh 152-150 in the final.

Iran’s Ebadi and Baratchi had already won two gold medals in the individual compound.

The Archery Asia Cup started in Bangkok, Thailand on March 18 and will run until March 28.

Iran has participated in the competition with 14 men and women archers.
