The public relations department of Quds base of the IRGC Ground Force in southeastern Iran announced on Tuesday that two perpetrators of the assassination have been captured, while two other terrorists were shot down in a gunfight.

Ruhollah Aali, commander of an IRGC battalion at Kurin, a district of the provincial capital of Zahedan, was shot by two Takfiri terrorists while he was on duty in a road between Zahedan and Kurin.

The martyr was commander of battalion of Kurin, under the command of Brigade 110 of Salman Corps of Sistan and Balouchestan Province.

Since a couple of years ago, the IRGC has been tasked with ensuring security of southeastern border areas in cooperation with the local residents.

Located in southeast of Iran, Sistan and Balouchestan borders Pakistan and Afghanistan, and has a long coastline by the Sea of Oman.
