Hamed Haddadi Joins Petrochimi Bandar Imam
TEHRAN (Tasnim) - Former NBA big man Hamed Haddadi joined Iranian basketball team Petrochimi Bandar Imam on Wednesday.
The former Memphis Grizzlies center has joined Petrochimi Bandar Imam from CBA's Sichuan Blue Whales.
Haddadi started his playing career with his hometown Shahin Ahvaz and played in the Iranian Basketball Super League with Paykan Tehran and Saba Battery.
The 2.18m center joined Memphis Grizzlies after the 2008 Olympic Games and was a member of NBA team for five years.
Haddadi has also played for Dakota Wizards, Phoenix Suns and Qingdao DoubleStar Eagles.
He will wear No.15 in Iran Super League defending champion.
